Cutter & Buck Unveils Spring 2012 Lines

Men's Collection returns to prep; Ladies' Collection leans to upscale resort feel

(SEATTLE) - Cutter & Buck announced this week the release of its Spring 2012 golf line for men and women. The Men's Collection represents a return to prep but with an edge, while the Ladies' Collection displays an upscale resort feel with some trendy retro details.

Men's Collection
Cutter & Buck pays homage to the prep sport of golf with its upcoming line of active apparel for men. The Spring 2012 line presents an upbeat and refreshing approach to golf apparel while weaving in vintage golf elements to its design. The new line includes playful design aesthetics such as bright argyle cardigans, simply patterned knits and plaid slacks that are reminiscent of the bygone years.

Cutter & Buck continues its commitment to quality and performance in the active portion of the collection. While the seams are angled and the color blocking is understated, the Spring 2012 line also shows an expanded offering of tipped collars. Styles are ventilated to allow more climate control, making them performance driven and tasteful.

The Elk Point Polo takes a very classic silhouette to an unexpected place. As an added surprise upon unbuttoning the placket, a pop of color is revealed. This polo also boasts contrast piping at the armhole, aerated mesh at the under arm to allow for ventilation, and a bit of tipped ribbing set into a self collar at the back neck.

The "Gentleman's Tech" portion of Cutter & Buck's collection is versatile, from the boardroom to the clubhouse. Both cotton/poly and 100 percent polyester items in gallant stripes and jacquards will be available.

Ladies' Collection
The Zen Spa collection presents both tranquil and exciting pieces for ladies' golf apparel. The Zen Flower Polo includes a shawl collar neckline and Lotus flower print back that creates a new and interesting silhouette on-course. Cutter & Buck has stretched ladies golf design beyond the norm by integrating modern fashion techniques that flatter women's figures. The three-quarter sleeve Tranquility Tee includes a twist knot in the front of the shirt that is slimming and feminine. Marrying technology with fashion, the CB DryTec Namaste Mock combines a moisture-wicking fabric with a modern shape. The mock-neck top has a Mandarin-style collar and ruches to one-side giving women comfort, shape and style.

The Retro Resort line, meanwhile, offers a mid-century modern approach to fashion indicated by its color palette of black, white and infinity (mint) green. A signature look to this line is the Repose Ankle Pant, a slimming cigarette-style pant in black-and-white plaid. Another new look is the three-quarter sleeve Ahoy Tee, a boat-necked shirt that is engineered with horizontal striped pattern and roll-tab sleeves.

Today, the company launched "Ghost Sightings," an application on the TaylorMade Facebook page that encourages fans to post one or more images of themselves, friends or even tour pros with any Ghost series putter.

"There is no comparison to a Ghost putter," said Michael Fox, TaylorMade's product marketing manager for putters. "The performance from the white heads has stood out and generated lots of excitement among Tour pros and consumers. We want to bring this excitement to the web with Ghost Sightings."

In addition to uploading their Ghost putter pictures, fans can also share the story behind the images. New Allen Edmonds Golf Shoe Helps Golfers Beat The 2011 Heat Wave

Double Eagle's Mesh Construction, Leather Soles Give Breathability, Stability and Comfort

Temperatures are soaring to sweltering levels across America this summer, and the heat wave is predicted to continue and reach highs not seen in 15 years.

Many golfers are still hitting the course as summer is the season for country club member-guest tournaments, club championships and local city competitions. Of course, you can't keep golf fanatics, living anywhere in the United States, from getting their recreational rounds in before weather and other commitments take up their time. In fact, the National Golf Foundation reports that nearly 40% of rounds in the US are played in the summer months, approximately 190 million.

When you play golf in such broiling conditions, it's smart and healthy to take all the normal precautions (hydration, breaks, sunscreen and light, cool apparel, as the Red Cross suggests). You also can beat the heat by wearing a shoe crafted to beat the heat and for superior comfort while walking from tee to green. You can combine that with a construction that keeps you stable during your swing in all weather conditions.

The new Allen Edmonds Double Eagle golf shoe might just be the solution. It has a sturdy, breathable wrap-around mesh upper and features the stability of a 360º Goodyear welted construction.

"In fact, we are seeing our sales of the Double Eagle picking up in the last two weeks of sweltering weather across the US," says Colin Hall, Chief Marketing Officer for Allen Edmonds. "We attribute that to the superior breathability of Double Eagle's mesh construction and leather sole when compared to typical rubber golf shoes."

"This breathability and the comfort of our cork lining becomes an advantage for a golfer who can walk about five miles over four hours while playing in this scorching heat," says Hall. "Additionally, the Double Eagle features a classic style, so you can look and stay 'cool' on the links."

The Double Eagle, available in Black Outland / Grey Mesh and Brown Outland / Brown Mesh is available at finer pro shops, all 34 Allen Edmonds retail stores across the United States and online at allenedmonds.com at a price of $345. The Double Eagle is one of the five new styles of the Allen Edmonds Honors Collection golf shoes introduced this season.

The shoes are handcrafted in the USA in 212 steps, using Goodyear 360-degree welted construction for greater stability while maintaining flexibility. They feature the finest premium leathers and heated cork between the insole and outsole for custom-like orthotic comfort as only Allen Edmonds can do.

Following Successful Island Resort Championship, Perfect Foursome Package at Sweetgrass Gains Ground

(Harris, Michigan) - Less than a month after the successful run of the inaugural Island Resort Championship, Sweetgrass Golf Club is experiencing its best playing conditions and most popular golf season in its history.

The championship, won by LPGA Future Tour rookie Stephanie Kim, 19, of Bayside, N.Y., proved the course was a great test of golf all week.  “On the holes that were downwind, I made birdies, but on some holes, it was pretty tough,” said Kim of her first round. “It’s a great golf course and it’s in great shape.”

The course reopened for public play the week after the June 24-26 LPGA Futures Tour event, proclaimed by many of the players as one of the most inviting and challenging new Tour courses this year. It is one of a handful of public courses where golfers can play following professional championship rounds.

For those wishing to test their game against the Paul Albanese design that left the winner with a 67-72-70=209 three-day score on her first professional winning card, the course will remain open until the late fall, and will not raise rates.

Daily fee rates start at $75, and stay-and-play package rates at $95 per person per night are highlighted by the popular Perfect Foursome package, which includes rounds at Sweetgrass and neighboring Greywalls and Timberstone in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

“The championship drew golfers from around the world, proving this course is an exacting test of golf from tee to green,” said head golf professional Dave Douglas. “It’s also a lot of fun to play for amateurs, giving you several options for risk and reward.”

Temperate weather in the low 80s and excellent playing conditions as a result of championship preparations have made it a popular golf option for Michiganders, Wisconsinites, Canadians and travelers from the South seeking golf options that beat the heat.

To make a tee time at the championship Sweetgrass Golf Club or to book the Perfect Foursome package with stays at the Island Resort & Casino, see http://www.sweetgrassgolfclub.com or call 877-ISL-GREEN.

New Gee-Swing electronics device records golfers swing speeds

Golfers striving to elevate their game to the next level can now rely on a unique and innovative game-improvement tool that has just been launched to market - Gee-Swing (www.gee-swing.com).

The hi-tech, precision electronics-driven device - endorsed by three-time European Tour winner Mark Roe and TV football pundit and two-handicap golfer Alan Hansen - is sufficiently small and lightweight (just 28g) to clip on to the foot of the club shaft, and essentially measures how well a shot has been timed, a world first for a specialist golf game improvement product.

To achieve this, Gee-Swing - a compact, user-friendly tool that simply works at the press of a button - accurately records vital information from more than 1 million sensory readings taken from the downswing, including the g-forces (hence Gee-Swing) and peak speed, as well as clubhead velocity at impact with the ball.

• Watch exclusive instruction videos from Mark Roe and Alan Hansen and learn more about Gee-Swing by visiting www.gee-swing.com/offer.php.

After successfully trialling the groundbreaking new Gee-Swing product, Mark Roe and Alan Hansen hailed it as one of the most exciting coaching tools to hit the golf market for many years.

Mark Roe, said: "Gee-Swing is the first easy-to-use, clip-on device I have seen that precisely measures clubhead speed and timing in the golf swing - and provides feedback that couldn't possibly be detected with the naked eye. I wish I'd had this product when playing on the European Tour."

Alan Hansen commented: "Like all club golfers I want to hit longer, more purely struck shots. With Gee-Swing I was instantly able to measure, and then improve, my clubhead speed and timing. Now, I wouldn't practice or warm up for a round without it."

The Gee-Swing settings can be calibrated to any golfer's individual measurements, in terms of size and build, and then subsequently stored in the patented product's in-built memory for future use.

A complementary coaching and instructional DVD, included within the Gee-Swing package, will help ensure golfers adopt the correct techniques to significantly increase their clubhead speed, and improve their swing and ball timing to help generate greater striking power and shot distance… so achieving the holy grail of lower handicaps and scores.

Many of the game's leading experts believe a lack of acceleration into the ball - a fault virtually impossible to detect with the human eye - is one of the most common faults experienced by amateur golfers. This lack of acceleration leads to inconsistency of ball strike and a loss of yardage.

"Any golf professional will stress the importance of maximising the clubhead speed at the point of impact with the ball," explained Peter Kimber, founder of Gee-Swing. "To this end, Gee-Swing will give golfers the most accurate available measurement of clubhead velocity, and the exact points on the downswing at which the maximum speed was reached and acceleration ceased.

"Gee-Swing is fun to use and certainly adds a much more enjoyable dimension to practice sessions. However, it is a highly sensitive and sophisticated piece of micro-electronic engineering that gives information about your swing that even the top coaches would not be able to spot. Gee-Swing also offers coaching tips on how you can rectify any problems."

Peter Kimber added: "Improvements can be achieved without the need for significant swing changes and the results can be, and usually are, quite dramatic. So confident are we that Gee-Swing will add huge value to the practice sessions of golfers of all standards, that we offer a no quibble refund should they not experience significant improvements."

The lightweight nature of Gee-Swing means a golfer's personal swing dynamics won't be adversely affected while using it.

"Trials have shown that its presence has no negative impact on the clubhead speeds generated," confirmed Peter Kimber. "The product has been calibrated to take into account the difference in swing weight so the readings always remain highly accurate."

For more information about Gee-Swing and to order a product at the special '25 percent off' introductory price of £74.99, plus £4.99 P&P, visit the company's offer page at www.geeswing.com/offer.php.

True Linkswear Embraces Tradition Limited Edition Shoe

Shoe pays homage to The Open Championship and Canadian Open

In honor of The Open Championship and Canadian Open, TRUE tours are now available for purchase in a limited edition white and red color design. This color combination ties in nicely to the Cross of St. George which is on the flag at every hole at Royal St. George in Sandwich, England this week.

Thanks to a partnership with Golf Town, the exclusive retail provider of TRUE in Canada, the white and red limited edition shoes also are available in advance of the Canadian Open, which is being held at Shaughnessy Golf and Country Club in Vancouver, B.C.

TRUE is releasing 400 of the White/Red shoes, which will be available online at www.truelinkswear.com and at select Golf Town locations throughout Canada.

This is the third limited edition shoe TRUE has done this year. The white/green Masters shoe and red/white/blue U.S. Open shoes sold out in a short time.

The TRUE tour is built on a barefoot platform, making it the lightest golf shoe on the PGA TOUR with the thinnest sole in golf. TRUE footwear was inspired by an emerging barefoot trend in running, where many shoes have shifted away from highly-engineered structures, such as arch supports and heavily-cushioned heels, to a shoe that better utilizes the anatomical features of the foot. The idea is that nature's engineering is best, and that a minimalist shoe with an ergonomic traction system allows a golfer's body to naturally stabilize itself while feeling the course like never before.

TRUE tour shoes can be purchased online at www.truelinkswear.com for a retail price of $159 or through select Golf Town locations throughout Canada. The price will be $159, just like our other tours, and they are available in size 6.5 through 15. The limited edition TRUE tours will ship this week.

Eidolon Golf Unveils a New Brand, New Product – SCOR Golf and SCOR4161

The most comprehensive re-design of scoring clubs since the invention of the sand wedge

(Victoria, TX) – Eidolon Brands, parent company of EIDOLON Golf and its patented V-SOLE wedges, today announced the introduction of a new brand, SCOR Golf, and its first product, SCOR4161.

The innovative and revolutionary SCOR4161 product line totally redesigns short irons and wedges and erases the line between them. This proprietary technology gives golfers the ability to build a precision, custom-built set of scoring clubs from 41 to 61 degrees in loft.

The technology behind the revolutionary SCOR4161 scoring clubs was designed to deliver improved shotmaking performance in the scoring zone so golfers of all skill levels can improve their short games and lower their scores.

SCOR Golf President Terry Koehler believes the SCOR 4161 product will make as powerful an impact on golfers’ performance in the scoring zone as hybrids did at the longer end of the set.

“SCOR Golf is a brand focused solely on innovative solutions to help golfers improve their performance with their scoring clubs,” said Koehler. “Short irons that look like middle-irons don’t work as well as they could – because the difference between a 6-iron and wedge is the same difference as that between a 5-iron and 3- or 4-wood. Even in wedges, the loft difference between a pitching wedge and lob wedge is the same as that between a 4-iron and driver. It makes no sense for wedges of all lofts to look alike, or for short irons to look like 5-irons. We all know what happened when hybrids came along – long irons have become extinct.  SCOR4161 can do the same to conventional wedges and set-match short irons.”

“At SCOR Golf, we’re keenly focused on the scoring clubs, those over 40 degrees of loft.  These are very different tools from middle irons," explained Koehler. “The result of over two years of research and testing manifests in SCOR4161, and it represents the most comprehensive package of scoring technology ever assembled. Every feature of these clubs is there to provide measurable shot making/scoring benefits for golfers of all abilities.  For the first time in golf history, golfers can specifically put together just the right set of precision scoring clubs that will deliver improved trajectories and better accuracy while offering optimum forgiveness. In addition, SCOR4161 delivers better spin with the new groove geometry and extraordinary feel. We know that golfers will reap the benefits through lower scores.”

The new SCOR4161 line of scoring clubs are available at www.scorgolf.com and at selected golf pro shops. The suggested retail price for a set of five clubs is $649.

SCOR4161’s innovative features include:

SGC3  Progressive Weighting – Short Game Control x 3 – trajectory/distance/spin.  This breakthrough design technology gives each clubhead its own unique weight distribution. The lower lofts have just the right amount of heel/toe weighting, a thicker face and a higher center of mass to keep short iron and full wedges shots driving forward. The higher loft wedges have a progressively lower center of mass to give you ball-stopping control when you are trying to get it close. All are optimized for spin performance with new conforming grooves.

21 exact lofts for infinite precision – Only with SCOR4161 can a golfer have the exact set of scoring clubs they need, picking up after the set-match 8-iron and extending through the highest lofted wedge. SCOR doesn’t bend clubs to get there; we make every loft from 41 to 61 degrees to allow the precise building of a matched set of 5-6 scoring clubs made for laser-like shot making and control.

Patented V-SOLE - This exclusive technology has earned its reputation because it handles any lie on any course ... for any golfer. The leading portion of the sole has a high bounce to prevent digging in softer turf or on more delicate shots around the green; the main portion of the sole has a low bounce to ensure outstanding performance from tight lies and the fairway. Each V-SOLE club is like having two or three wedges of conventional specialized bounce designs.

Tru-Form-Forged 8620 carbon steel – Mild carbon steel is preferred by most tour professionals but only SCOR4161 combines the precision of casting with the feel of forging. Each head is super-heated and compressed under 800 tons of forging pressure to re-align the granular structure for unprecedented feel and responsiveness.

GENIUS steel and graphite shafts – Shafts found on traditional wedges are too heavy and too stiff for the vast majority of golfers.  SCOR’s proprietary GENIUS series short game shafts, designed in conjunction with KBS Tour and UST Mamiya, allows golfers to choose from two weights of graphite or a standard weight steel shaft, each available in two or three flex options. This is the way SCOR ensures that any golfer will have optimized feel and trajectory in the scoring zone.

Custom-fit, custom-built to order – Every set of SCOR4161 scoring clubs is built specifically for the golfer who’s going to play them. The unique “SCORFit” process determines the exact prescription and specifications each player needs to optimize performance when in the scoring range.

Proprietary SCOR Grips - The SCOR grips, designed in conjunction with UST Mamiya, are specifically designed to improve short game performance. The upper portion of the grip is a firm material with a soft cord imbedded for secure club control. The lower portion is a softer material to provide unmatched feel and touch around the greens. The pattern on the grip supports THE SCoR Method of achieving short game precision, and a copy of the book, “The SCoR Method” is complimentary with every set of SCOR4161 scoring clubs.

Nicklaus Design Golf Course re-opens at Grupo Vidanta Resort in Nayarit, Mexico

(NAYARIT, Mexico) - When it opened a decade ago, the Nayar Vidanta Golf Course in Nuevo Vallarta, Nayarit, Mexico was regarded as one of the country's absolute best. Now after a thorough four-year renovation by the renowned Nicklaus Design Group, this stunning layout is quite likely to gain even higher acclaim.

Situated between the Pacific Ocean and the meandering Ameca River and with the Sierra Madre Mountains serving as a spectacular backdrop, the course is a joy to play for the higher handicappers while still being a stern test for players of the highest caliber. Golfers will find room to roam off the tee, but approach shots require a tad more precision thanks to seven shimmering lakes and plenty of strategically-placed bunkers. A keen putting touch comes in handy to navigate the perfectly-manicured greens.

If it's possible to designate a signature hole when all are worthy of consideration it would be the par four 13th which stretches to 426 yards from the back tees. With a lake to the left, a waste area protecting the right side and a prevailing wind that's generally in the golfer's face, par is always a good score.

Adding even more to the unforgettable Nayar Vidanta golf experience is a clubhouse with dining service, a lighted practice facility for fine-tuning the skills well after dark, a putting green, new golf carts with GPS yardage systems and both Cobra and Titleist top-of-the-line rental clubs.

"We are very excited with how the golf course has turned out after these extensive renovations," said Jesus Torres, managing director of Vidanta Golf. "Our objective as a company is to offer world class golf at our renowned resorts and the Nicklaus Design Group has helped us to achieve that goal."

TOMMY HILFIGER ANNOUNCES LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH FLETCHER LEISURE GROUP FOR GOLF APPAREL

Tommy Hilfiger will launch men’s and women’s golf apparel collections for Spring 2012 with Fletcher Leisure Group

(NEW YORK, NY) - The Tommy Hilfiger Group announced an agreement with Fletcher Leisure Group to license men’s and women’s golf apparel, beginning Spring 2012 in the U.S., Canada and Europe. Inspired by Tommy Hilfiger’s signature classic American sensibility with a twist, the collection adapts technical performance fabrics with a focus on style and fit.

"Golf represents the ultimate prep lifestyle, and we are excited to expand our presence in the performance area,” said Tommy Hilfiger. “Our golf collection is inspired by the integrity and tradition of the sport. We’ve added a twist to the classics through an innovative use of fabrics and details, delivering performance, comfort and style in golf sportswear that can be worn on and off the course.”

Celebrating the brand’s preppy heritage, the new collection includes four groups: Core, Cape Cod, St. Barth’s and Cape Town.  The Core collection gives time-honored basics an updated look while an assortment of fits accommodates the movement required for golf.  Cape Cod draws inspiration from the Eastern seaboard, in particular photographs of the Kennedys in the 60s, with exploded plaids, seersucker stripes and grosgrain details.  St. Barth’s incorporates the sights and sounds of the island; bold stripes and pops of color are featured throughout. Cape Town takes cues from the brightly colored architecture of the city, offering a balance of brights and pastels to create preppy printed bottoms for women and a new, colorful plaid for men.

“We are excited to partner with the Fletcher Leisure Group and take our golf apparel business to the next level with both a greater style range and broader distribution,” said Anne Marino, President of Licensing for Tommy Hilfiger. “Fletcher Leisure Group is a category leader in golf apparel with a strong reputation and expertise in design and sourcing. We are looking forward to a successful relationship with their team.”

Key to the collection are designs that incorporate three technical performance fabrics. The first is a 100% polyester fabric with moisture wicking capabilities that keep garments dry and provide the anti-odor properties essential in a technical garment. The second is a hybrid fabric that delivers superior styling, quality and comfort. Combining the comfort and ease of cotton with technical performance fabric allows the garment to draw away moisture and dry rapidly while maintaining the softness of cotton. The third fabric is constructed using a high functioning yarn in all-polyester, polyester/spandex and cotton-polyester blends.  The unique structure of the yarn creates garments that are breathable yet entirely moisture free.

"The Tommy Hilfiger brand is perfectly aligned with the values of the golf market and we are very pleased to be combining our experience with the creativity and imagination of the Tommy Hilfiger team,” said Mark Fletcher, President. “Our timing could not be better as the global strength of Tommy Hilfiger continues to gain momentum and we are leveraging this with a collection that is truly ideal for golf."

The collection will be distributed in the U.S., Canada and Europe at private and public golf clubs, golf specialty stores, sport specialty stores, resort accounts, and corporate accounts beginning Spring 2012.  Marketing initiatives will focus on trade shows, co-op programs, print advertising, and event sponsorships in key North American and European markets.

Targeting men and women golfers ages 25-40, the collection offers a wide selection of garments with approximately 100 styles for men ranging in price from $65 for short-sleeved polos to $120 for sophisticated outerwear options.  The versatile women’s collection includes approximately 75 styles with prices ranging from $65 for bermudas and polos to $120 for knits and outerwear.

Tommy Hilfiger launched men’s golf apparel in 1994 and expanded into women’s golf apparel in 2000; in 2004 the collection was introduced in Europe.  Since 2007, the line has been produced and distributed only in Europe.

I’m thrilled that the Paula Creamer signature styles will continue.”

Since the debut of her first Collection in 2007, the nine-time winner on the LPGA Tour has been instrumental in designing 12 fashionable models, including three new ones for 2011. Freestyle and Bravo feature classic aviator styles redefined by Paula’s personal touch and flair. As she defends her Open title this week at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Paula will be wearing her Mela-Lens  Paula Creamer Collection sunglasses. “Mela” is an abbreviation for Melanin, a naturally produced pigment that acts as a sunscreen protecting the skin from High Energy Visible light or “blue” light. In partnership with BNL Sun Lenses, an Essilor company, Sundog Eyewear has created the Sundog Mela-Lens lines utilizing synthetic melanin to produce state-of-the-art melanin lens technology. Mela-Lens absorbs light seamlessly over a broad spectral range providing 98 per cent blue light filtration with no color distortion, and 100 per cent UVA/B protection. Beauty From the East: Miura Golf Introduces Dramatic Limited Forged Black Blade Iron

(HIMEJI, Japan) - Miura Golf, the Japanese company known for its excellence in forging fine clubs, also has a reputation for the beauty of its creations. The tradition continues with the company's latest forged iron.

Miura's new Limited Forged Black Blade iron is a stunning version of the popular muscle back Miura Tournament Blade - but with the distinctive Miura Black finish.

Company founder and club making expert Katsuhiro Miura and his sons, Yoshitaka and Shinei, and their staff took special care to create a no-glare, flat-black finish with a surface texture that's pleasing to the touch. When golf club fans see these beauties, the effect is like coming around the corner and seeing your dream car parked at the curb. They can't get that look out of their minds.

The LFBB finish is the same as on Miura's Black Wedges. Like the wedges, these irons will show gradual, desirable wear with repeated use. But "wear" doesn't mean "wear out." Instead, it's more like a breaking in, a personalization no different than the one that occurs with your favorite baseball glove or the skates you want in the games that matter.

This personalized settling-in of the finish will differ slightly for every player. But in general, the black finish will mature over time to a silvery gray, mostly on the center of the clubface and on the sole, starting at the leading edge. Time in the sun enters into it, as well as the turf the golfer usually encounters. In the end, the Limited Forged Black Blades will be distinctively Miura, and distinctively each golfer's own - and always a joy to look at as well as play.

"This is one of the great things about being the kind of company we are -- small and focused on careful, handcrafted work. So we can satisfy golfers' appetites for clubs that are beautiful as well as functional," said Adam Barr, president of Miura. "When Miura-san has ideas like this for something special and exciting, we can do it, and to a very high standard. Of course, by definition, there can't be many of these sets available. But that just adds to the allure."

The suggested retail price for the Limited Forged Black Blades will be $275 per club. Interested golfers around the world can check the list of expert dealer/fitters near them by checking the website (www.MiuraGolf.com) for a Miura Dealer List.

The rear portion of the proprietary DT-111 club head is slightly higher. This new FOURTEEN GOLF design promotes the correct set up and visually establishes confidence at address. The four piece Titanium club head is engineered with several different Titanium materials. Utilizing multiple Titaniums allowed the engineers to adjust the CG and MOI as well as implement the two-piece hybrid crown which ignites power and impact results in massive drives.

An exclusive varying cup face design provides a substantial sweet spot on the DT-111 Driver. The face is 3.3mm thick around the center and gradually reduces to 2.6mm and 2.1mm around the parameter. This modification of thickness contributes the forgiveness of this powerful driver.

For optimum performance the DT-111 Driver is available in both the athletic type TS-70d shaft and the standard MD-350gd shaft. The shaft model should be fitted or selected according to the golfer's club head speed. Selecting the proper shaft should produce power with optimum drives.

Micro-Cart Lives Up To Its Name

(Missoula, MT) – Micro-Cart from Sun Mountain is a new-look, four wheel walking cart that folds 25 percent smaller and weighs 20 percent less than leading push carts.

Tipping the scales at the slight 13 lbs. and folding down to the scant 52 cubic inches, Micro-Cart is a very appropriate name. Its small folded footprint and its light weight make the cart easy to get in and out of a vehicle.

Also, due to the patented four-wheel design, the cart has a low center of gravity which results in superior stability on the course.

Micro-Cart comes with no assembly required and folds and unfolds in two easy motions. New for 2011, Micro-Cart comes standard with the E-Z Latch for hassle-free handle height adjustment. Micro-Cart is available now with a full-suggested retail price of $219. For the retailer nearest you, call 800-227-9224 or visit www.sunmountain.com.

In 1999, Sun Mountain introduced the ergonomically designed Speed Cart®; revolutionizing the walking cart category. Sun Mountain has continued to invent and innovate every detail of the Speed Cart, growing the line to three models. In 2009, Sun Mountain added Micro-Cart as a lighter, more compact when folded, alternative to the ever popular and still available Speed Cart.

Uniquely, in going lighter the inventors at Sun Mountain added a fourth wheel to Micro Cart. The benefit of the four-wheel design is better stability on side hills and no tracking adjustments required. The four wheels come standard with low maintenance solid foam tires and adjustable front axle to accommodate the largest of golf bags.

Micro-Cart’s lightweight anodized aluminum frame folds and unfolds in two easy motions offering variable handle-height positions (thanks to the new for 2011 E-Z Latch); strapless bag bracket; standard Micro-Paq for additional storage; and a console with padded valuables tray, ball and tee holders, magnetic scorecard holder, and a drink holder. With a contemporary look, available in four colors (red, black, blue and silver), Micro-Cart is as visually pleasing as it is functionally efficient.
