Park Earns first LPGA Tour Victory of 2014 on Her 'Journey to Better'

(HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA) – Srixon congratulates staffer Inbee Park for her victory at the 2014 Manulife Financial LPGA Classic held at Grey Silo Golf Course in Waterloo, Ontario (Canada). The 25-year-old South Korean had ten birdies on Sunday, which not only allowed her to match the course record at 10-under-par 61, but also enabled her to erase a two-stroke overnight deficit.  Park finished the tournament with a final score of 23-under 261 to win the event by three strokes.

“It never gets old,” Park said after clinching her 10th career victory.  “This week’s definitely a huge, huge help for me because I got a confidence boost before going to the U.S. Open.  Coming to this three week stretch, I really wanted to have a trophy before I played the big major tournaments.”

Park played with a Srixon Z-STAR ball with SpinSkin Technology, a XXIO 8 driver, XXIO Forged irons (#5-9), and Cleveland Golf 588 RTX wedges (47°, 51°, 56°).  Park wears a Srixon hat, and glove, and carries a Srixon bag.

Park, who is currently ranked 2nd in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings, earned $225,000 for the win to move from 18th to 16th on the LPGA Career Money List with $8,468,853.  Park’s current season earnings of $744,510 moved her from 7th to 4th position on the 2014 LPGA Official Money List.
