(Scottsdale, Ariz.) – Troon, leader in upscale golf course management, development and marketing is pleased to announce it has promoted Dennis Piekarski to the newly created position of Director of Revenue Management – Southwest.

Dennis Piekarski
Troon has been an industry leader in the implementation of dynamic pricing strategies and revenue management. Adding this new role to focus on continued growth in this arena enhances the company’s efforts to deliver new rounds and revenues to Troon Golf-managed facilities.

In this new role, Piekarski will oversee revenue management, dynamic pricing strategies and distribution channel management for a number of Troon facilities in southwest destination markets such as Las Vegas, Scottsdale, Palm Springs/Indian Wells, and San Diego.

“We have already seen facilities experience exponential revenue and average rate increases through the adoption and implementation of our proven revenue management practices,” said Ryan Walls, senior vice president, operations, sales & marketing. “The appointment of Dennis in this new role will provide a concerted day-by-day, hour-by-hour focus on taking advantage of opportunities to deliver new revenues to our course owners.”

Prior to his appointment in this new position, Dennis served as the area director of sales and marketing for Troon in the Southern Nevada region where he had direct oversight over multiple facility sales and revenue management practices. He had served in the capacity for Troon for more than 11 years. Originally from Buffalo, N.Y., Dennis has a bachelor of science degree in Business Administration from Fredonia State University.

“I am honored and excited to be selected to serve in this new role for Troon,” Piekarski said. “Troon’s proprietary revenue management practices take a calculated approach, whereby data is driving the decisions. In my new role I look forward to extracting this data, helping our course operators and owners with revenue management and growing their rounds and revenues.”
