The Traveling Golfer Visits ParaLong Drive at Mesquite

(PHILADELPHIA, Pa.) - Last year's Traveling Golfer show from Mesquite, NV was so well received, host Tony Leodora returns to cover the rest of the courses in the area along with the inaugural Para Long Drive Worlds competition.

After a flight into Las Vegas, the drive to Mesquite is about an hour and a half away - the Jack Nicklaus Signature course Coyote Springs GC is the first stop.  It is an excellent challenge of golf with strategic amoeba bunkers, wavy rolling fairways and 11 lakes to contend with.

An arrival in Mesquite brings viewers to the Canyons at Oasis GC, arguably the most player friendly course in the area blending perfectly with its natural surroundings in a town of red rocks, cliffs and sand.  The par 71 Falcon Ridge GC sits just off of the Falcon Ridge Parkway and is not for the faint of heart.  With many elevation changes and some hard to reach areas, hitting the ball straight is a must.  The most visually stunning and final course on this month's Traveling Golfer is in neighboring Utah at Sand Hollow GC.  A two-time GolfWeek "Best Public Course," Sand Hollow is framed perfectly by its surroundings, with dramatic elevation changes that extend across a massive ridgeline.

"It is truly amazing just how beautiful these courses are," exclaims show host, Tony Leodora.  "Mesquite should be on every traveling golfer's bucket list...every course is a breathtaking journey that is visually captivating."

Leodora also speaks with a few contenders in the Para Long Drive Worlds competition.  Mesquite, NV is the home of the RE/MAX Long Drive Championship and now the Para Long Drive National and World Championships.

The episode from Mesquite, Nevada began airing November 1 and runs throughout the month on The Traveling Golfer Network ... including the new Golf Director Network (see full list of sites on www.travelinggolfervideo.com). It also will air on Monday, November 10 as part of the Press Box television show in Myrtle Beach, 5 to 7 p.m. on HTC Ch. 4, and as part of the Inside Golf television show on Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia and Comcast SportsNet in Baltimore/Washington at the end of October.

Responding to golfers' never-ending demands to learn more about interesting golf courses and golf resorts across the country and around the world, well-traveled host Tony Leodora created the Traveling Golfer so he could take viewers on video golf trips to some of the most exciting golf locations.

The Traveling Golfer appears as a series of monthly shows hosted by Leodora, who has 15 years of experience in televised golf shows. The featured destination stays on the website for one month, before being replaced by a new show. The old shows are archived on the home website, www.travelinggolfervideo.com.
