Titleist Leads Ball Count at the Humana Challenge

(RELEASE) - The PGA Tour is in California this week for the Humana Challenge, an exciting event where the scores are low and the action is non-stop. Contested on three different courses, players have to adapt each day to tackle the variety of challenges presented at the third event of the 2015 season.

Despite having to adjust to a new course each of the first three days, the field will have to stay aggressive if they hope to keep pace with the leaders.

"These courses certainly aren't easy, but they give you a lot of opportunities. With the perfect greens, if someone's playing well, they're going to shoot and make a lot of birdies out there. You're going to have to get up there with that mentality with going low and not being afraid to make some birdies and get on some runs," said Titleist Pro V1x Loyalist Luke Donald.

Some players in the field are starting their 2015 season this week, using it as an opportunity to get their games in shape.

"This event is great. Playing in the Palm Springs area is awesome. The weather is always fantastic for the most part and the golf courses are pretty reasonable. I think they give you a good gauge of where you're at, what you need to work on," said Titleist Brand Ambassador Jason Dufner.

With perfect weather, great course conditions and a field with some of the best players in the world, the Humana Challenge is sure to provide golf fans excitement throughout the week.

BY THE NUMBERS: 2015 HUMANA CHALLENGE
This week at the Humana Challenge, Titleist is the overwhelming golf ball of choice with 102 players in the field trusting a Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball for their success. That's more than six times the nearest competitor with 15.

Titleist was also the top choice in the approach, sand and lob wedge (124) and putters (59) categories.
