Two Troon Restaurants Win Golf Inc. Magazine Golden Fork Awards

(Scottsdale, Ariz.) – Troon, the leader in upscale golf course management, development, and marketing is pleased to announce that Golf Inc. Magazine recently honored two Troon restaurants with Golden Fork Awards as Poston Butte’s anthem Grille won first place in the Best New Public Restaurant category and Troon North’s Dynamite Grille took home honorable mention honors in the Most Improved Public Restaurant category.

Golf Inc. Magazine has been recognizing top architects and developers in their annual competitions for years. In their January/February 2016 issue, Golf Inc. unveiled their first-ever Golden Fork Awards to honor the top new and improved golf dining facilities across the nation. Editors judged entries based on a number of categories, including improvements in revenue, traffic, guest satisfaction, aesthetics, service, menus and capital investment.

“We congratulate the food and beverage staffs at both Poston Butte and Troon North on winning these awards,” said John Bartilomo, Troon’s vice president, food and beverage. “The dedication to proper training, creativity in menu development and emphasis on guest satisfaction are all hallmarks of Troon managed facilities. Special thanks to Cindy Dinardo, anthem Grille food & beverage manager; Joe Sneed, anthem Grille executive chef; Mollie Beale, Troon North food and beverage director; Robin Shepston, Troon North food and beverage manager; and Andrew Capek, Troon North executive chef. Also, thanks to Shannan Metcalf and our corporate food and beverage team for supporting these exceptional club culinary leaders.”

The anthem Grille at Poston Butte in Florence, Ariz. opened in early 2015. Open to the public seven days a week for lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch, the restaurant has a casual dining feel. Weekly theme nights and special events have been very successful in drawing new and repeat customers. The Grille’s monthly tasting nights, at which beer, spirits or wines are paired with food and live entertainment have also been popular with locals. In the first 10 months since opening, the Grille brought in $1.1 million in sales and 75,000 covers.

The Dynamite Grille at Troon North in Scottsdale, Ariz. has been open since 1994, but the last three years have been the most successful for the restaurant. Open to the public for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the Grille’s menu continues to evolve to meet the needs of guests, golfers and diners. Theme nights such as Taco Tuesday, Mulligans & Martinis and Smokehouse Night have all attracted new customers. Since 2012, the Grille has increased yearly revenues by 38 percent and daily covers by 19 percent.

I used to go to different restaurants very often, but lately I've decided that I need to cut back a little on cafe expenses, so now I'm trying to cook more at home. Well, I had already forgotten how much pleasure I get from it. Now I have new kitchen furniture from Kitchen Cabinets for Sale king of prussia and I like to spend more time in the kitchen. It's great that I decided to do this renovation and replace the furniture with new ones.
